CAXIORKA

CAXIORKA is the electronic music project of South African producer Trudie Swanepoel, whose work explores the emotional and atmospheric possibilities of sound.

With a background spanning multiple electronic genres including Organic House, Afro House, Melodic Techno and Electronica CAXIORKA focuses on creating music that connects rhythm, atmosphere and storytelling.

Deeply inspired by nature, oceans, forests and environmental sound, the project is evolving into a more immersive sonic space where organic textures meet electronic production.

Rather than following strict genre boundaries, CAXIORKA approaches music as an exploration of mood, environment and frequency. Each piece is designed to evoke a sense of place from ocean horizons to desert landscapes and cosmic atmospheres.

Alongside her solo work, Trudie collaborates with Italian producer and sound engineer Ciro Costagliola, known artistically as Kiro Kosta. Together they are developing ATMOS XII, an ambient electronica and atmospheric techno project that explores the meeting point between Earth’s natural environments and the vastness of the cosmos.

Through these projects, CAXIORKA aims to create music that invites listeners to slow down, reflect, and experience sound as an evolving landscape.

This is music not only for the dancefloor, but also for deep listening, imagination, and connection.
